Know your church restrictions

Know your church restrictions. Many churches are becoming increasingly strict with photographers and videographers. No doubt in part by some photographers who act inappropriately while photographing at a church.
Many brides are surprised on their wedding day when the photographer is not allowed to be in a position to capture the ceremony. Many churches now require the photographer to sit amongst the guests not allowing them an advantageous position to document the event. Some churches have gone so far as to not allow photography at all during the ceremony.
A bride should discuss the restrictions beforehand with the church they are to be wed in and also discuss the limitations with their photographer. All too often brides are surprised and disappointed by the lack of coverage at their wedding ceremony. Usually this is due to the limitations imposed on the photographer.
Ask for a list of restrictions from your church and provide it to your photographer and videographer. Also provide the name of the coordinator at the church and a number so your photographer can contact them ahead of time to eliminate any misunderstandings on the day of your wedding.

Happy Wedding!
